Mental math for trading interviews: timed arithmetic practice
How it works
Problems appear one at a time: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Type the answer, and the next problem appears as soon as it is right, with no Enter key. A round lasts 2 minutes.
Many trading firms test candidates on fast arithmetic, often reported as 80 questions in 8 minutes. Short daily sprints build the speed these tests need.
Settings
The default ranges match the Zetamac Arithmetic Game, a free tool many candidates practise with: addition of numbers from 2 to 100, multiplication of 2–12 by 2–100, and subtraction and division as their reverse. Every range and the length of the round can be changed.
