About Anzan Arena
Anzan Arena is a free website for practising mental arithmetic in the formats of real contests. It is for abacus (soroban) students and their teachers, for mental calculation competitors, and for anyone preparing for a numerical test in a job interview.
Rules and sources
Each event follows published rules: the 2024 rulebook of the Mental Calculation World Cup, the Memoriad events, abacus contests such as UCMAS and the All Japan Soroban Championship, and the official flash anzan records. Where a setting is only a practice default, the page says so.
Practice only
Results are for practice and are saved only in your browser. They are not official records. Anzan Arena is independent and is not connected with any contest, organiser or abacus school.
